Advice Needed (WIP and Completed Works shown)

What's up y'all! So I'm relatively still new to tufting. I started back in the fall of this last year. However, between my wife and I expecting and my job (teacher and coach), I haven't had the time to better my work.

I know for a fact that my rugs are not storefront or website ready, but I have sold a handful to friends and family after profusely telling them that it wasn't my best work. With that being said, I would greatly appreciate some constructive feedback! I am aware that my carving needs some serious work, mainly with the black outlines inside the rug. I've experimented with carving on frame before but I tore through the fabric, creating a hole that was too big to repair so I haven't tried it since.

The Blastoise (struggled mightily with carving and backing), Spiderman 2099, and Batman Beyond rugs are the ones I have sold to friends and family. The Batman rug was my second ever rug. The Vader rug is a current commission that I'm working on.

I'm also working on a nearly 5 ft Dr Doom rug but I don't have any updated picture to show of that one.

I would happily welcome any constructive feedback! God bless!

P.S. I use acrylic yarn ("I Love This Yarn" from hobby lobby)
