Waiting to switch

I recently got a new Pixel after switching from iPhone and I heard that GrapheneOS is good to have.

I initially installed it and enjoyed it for the couple hours I had it, but I was having a lot of trouble as I was confused about transferring my old messages/and whatsapp messages over and eventually switching back to PixelOS so I could do it easier and clearer

Now that I (should have, still waiting for it to fully copy over as I’m typing) it all on, I still do want to switch to grapheneOS as I get anxious about privacy (though I do want google pay as I also get anxious using physical cards, is there any way to use or an alternative that works in the UK). I’m too burnt out from figuring all this out in one go and trying and failing different things I don’t want to do it right now, but if I wait a while is there an easy way that I can back up and save everything on my phone (apps still signed in the same, all messages, etc) while switching over, because I don’t want to lose anything. Wondering if it’s worth it to just try and make everything as private as I can without switching if itll be too difficult

Sorry if this is all ramble, I’m not used to doing stuff like this and I’m tired
