I wanna send these homegrown chilies to a friend and have them arrive in good shape - any tips?

12.49 for a gallon of chlorine at Publix. They really are the embodiment of corporate greed.

I think 6.48 at Walmart is bad enough.

* I was getting BOGO Windex - it was on the same aisle.

Cause it seems like reality is finally catching up.

The price of chlorine just went up 10%, just like everything else this year.

These are Habs, Ghosts, Reapers etc and were started last July. In Dec. I cut the stems back to 6" and covered them with blankets on cold nights - 1 blanket for every 5 degrees below 32. The coldest morning here was around 22F. I couldn't find a lot of info about overwintering and just wondering if anyone else does this?
