My thoughts on Cosmic and Linux
I would love for there to be a paid app store for flatpak apps and for flathub to finalize the infrastructure to support this I know this is legally challenging but also I really want to support developers and allow them to work full time in Linux and on software, and therefore the entire quality will rise, also I like to support developers if they are happy to work full time in Linux development in a Way that supports them to develop full time on kde or cosmic or gnome
On Cosmic you can feel the sophistication with the modularity and sophisticated architecture and design and incredibly intuitive UI with libcosmic and context drawer design which looks. Beautiful. The only problem I have now is only the exception of a some bugs like os error in cosmic files and others that I can see are already being worked on in GitHub. To develop something this great and performant in such a short space of time is incredible, I would love to support them in someway I am not in USA so it's hard to buy their hardware which I really want to do. if they do cosmic sync as a service I will definitely purchase this and its a way i can support system76. It would also be great after epoch 3 to have a Cosmic browser based on servo that maybe also comes with cosmic account and syncs your cosmic browser with cosmic sync. I wish to support in anyway. and will be looking forward to getting all my tech stuff from now where is possible from system76.
