Has anyone else noticed that even when we’re just minding our own business on social media, we still feel pressured to follow the invisible rules of other people’s expectations?

Like there’s always an unspoken standard for what looks successful, respectable, attractive, intelligent, funny, or “worth posting.”

So the real question is:

Are we actually free to be ourselves online, or are we just performing a version of ourselves that other people will accept?

Anyone here seen real attempts at gamifying careers?

I’ve been looking into career platforms that go beyond the usual LinkedIn / job board format and try to turn career growth into something more game-like.

Not just badges or points, but actual RPG-style progression based on real skills, credentials, job experience, and career paths.

I came across a startup called VENGUILD, which seems to be exploring this idea through a fantasy/adventurer-style career platform.

Has anyone seen similar projects before?
Do you think career gamification can actually work, or would it end up feeling gimmicky?

Curious to hear thoughts, especially from people in HR, recruitment, game design, or startup spaces.
