Do you finish most novels you begin reading
It’s always been a source of frustration for me that my DNF rate is so high. I have a quick trigger finger. Basically, if a book doesn’t have me locked in by the 10th page of story, I’m out. And there have been some all-time classics that I’ve shelved.
I just figure life is too short to slog through books I don’t enjoy, but I worry I’m missing out on opportunities to become a better writer. That said, I’m always reading something worthwhile.
