Thank you!! 🙏

My friend from the US who was visiting Edinburgh today fell on Chamber Street on the corner outside Nando’s injuring herself quite badly. Thanks to the wonderful staff in ERI Emergency Department she is now much better.

We were absolutely blown away by how many people stopped to help & ask if she was okay. There were 2 student doctors (I think one was called Cameron?) who stayed with us the whole time, a guy who went & bought her a blanket as she was on the ground for a long time, a guy who owned a shop across the street who kept popping over, an orthopaedic surgeon who was on holiday who bandaged her arm in place so we could move her safely & some passing police officers who stopped and helped us all get her up & to hospital eventually. Plus countless others who checked in to see if they could help.

If any of you are on here just want to say a massive THANK YOU!!! 🙏 💕 You made a very stressful situation much better & proof that people really do care there is still so much kindness in the world.
