After finishing Ragnarok by Long Dog Samplers last year, I spend some time on other hobbies, but now I'm back!

The pattern, Barber Meins 1840-1842 by samplers-berlin.com, was by far the most beautifully packaged pattern I ever got. Sturdy plastic envelope, colored print of the original sampler (which can be found at Hannovers Historical Museum), the pattern sheets held by a satin ribbon, additional postcards and a small catalogue. Clear print and additional explanations to the different motives. So happy with this birthday gift my daughter gave to me!

I'm stitching on medium grey 18ct aida, 2 over1. Floss is 50m spools from Buttinette col. 702 (rebranded Madeira Mouline). I hope the 350m will be enough! For Ragnarok I used a little more than 4 spools and was really happy with quality and coverage.

Last picture ist my faithfull stitching companion Nero, who seems to be very happy now that I'm stitching again (he hates knitting needles). He settled on my stomach and was purring up a storm!
