First, I apologize for my clumsy English lol.
But here's the thing, as the title suggests, I'm not a developer and I don't understand anything about this subject.
What brings me to this subreddit is learning; I've been using Linux for over 4 years, but not full-time. I go months without touching it, but this time I decided to follow a different approach.
I have a little bit of free time and I decided to learn how to use Window Manager, but laziness and not having the time to configure everything or test various pre-made configurations is annoying, and I don't want to risk spending that much time.
I took some time to read the Omarchy documentation and saw that it's intended for developers and all that, so I thought, tools for devs are just tools, what if I remove Would having all the development tools and sticking with what I need for my everyday life be foolish? 😂😂😂😂
Something tells me no, and I'm considering that possibility... I find it interesting, but at the same time Idiocy , and that's what will make this experience interesting.
Has anyone here used Omarchy outside of a development context? I'd love to hear from people who have removed the development tools and use them for day-to-day tasks. Specific tips for the T480 are also welcome.
Thank you very much. And sorry for the long text.
