I am a Sunni Muslim, Hyderabadi ethnically

I believe Indian Muslims should try to live in the ghettos and if they already live there they should avoid leaving them

I am talking about places like Mumbra in Mumbai, Okla in Delhi, Juhapura in Ahmedabad, etc.

Ghettos are safe places for us. You can be visibly Muslim without harassment or danger of violence

People say that ghettos are underdeveloped and have bad infrastructure, poor amenities and lack of job and educational opportunities

However, this would change if the wealthy and middle class segments of the community would come in the ghettos and invest in them

I’ve heard many stories of how even relatively wealthy and middle class Muslims are suffering discrimination.

This is despite the fact they tend to be more liberal and assimilated

Nevertheless, they will be discriminated simply for being Muslims

So why not come to the ghettos. You can build your luxurious mansions in the ghettos. But at least stay in proximity to the Community
