WWTBC: Fireman and teacher, small town, single dad
I think they had gone to school together as kids. One moved back to their hometown where the other was already a teacher. I think the fireman had a child. I believe the MCs were both under 40. One might have been struggling with his sexuality (the fireman?). Possibly set in the American midwest (Kansas? Missouri?). TIA.
