UPDATE / URGENT: Friend detained at Fujairah Immigration after employer filed malicious absconding case – RAKEZ visa rejected due to "Lifetime Ban"

Following up on my previous post regarding my friend whose former sponsor refused to return her passport after her contract ended.

Summary of what happened:
We initially tried filing a MOHRE complaint, but because her previous visa was issued under a domestic/local Fujairah sponsor, MOHRE jurisdiction was limited.

After 10 days of overstay while trying to retrieve her passport, she secured a new job offer under RAKEZ and applied for a new visa.
Her visa status remained "Under Immigration Review" for over a week.
Meanwhile, learning about the complaints, the previous local sponsor maliciously filed an absconding (circular) report against her in Fujairah Immigration.

Current Situation (Detained in Fujairah): She went directly to Fujairah Immigration today to resolve the status. They confiscated her phone, detained her, and sent the friends who accompanied her away.
The officers gave her three options:

1.Voluntarily accept deportation / return to home country.
2.Go to jail/detention center.
3.Pay all fines, lift the absconding charges, and have the new employer/PRO come in person to meet the officers to finalize the transfer.

This evening, her RAKEZ portal updated with the following rejection notice:
Reason for Return: The applicant has lifetime ban
Questions for anyone who has navigated this:

Can the lifetime/immigration ban be lifted immediately if the new employer's PRO visits Fujairah Immigration and pays the absconding removal fees?
How can we contest the malicious absconding report given that the employer illegally held her passport in the first place?

What immediate steps should her new company's PRO take tomorrow morning to get her released from Fujairah Immigration before deportation proceedings are initiated?
Any advice, contact recommendations, or legal insights on handling Fujairah Immigration directly would be deeply appreciated.

Bank recovery agent(legal team) threatening to “stop my visa process” after I got a new job :Is this even real or just a scare tactic?

Hey everyone, looking for some advice or experiences regarding debt recovery behavior here.
Here is the situation:
Background: I had a personal loan and an auto loan with a bank. Back in May, I suffered a forced resignation, leaving me jobless.
Payment History: Because of the income gap, I fell one month behind on my personal loan payments (paid May’s installment in June, and June’s in July). I’ve kept up with my auto loan on time even thou there was delay on June’s. July is paid on time.
Current Status: The bank required payments 5 days prior to the due date to process a deferment, which I couldn't manage due to lack of funds.
Good News: Alhamdulillah, I just secured a new job today! With my upcoming salary, I will easily be able to clear the overdue amount and catch up 3 months. (July , August and September) .
I informed the bank/legal team today about the new job and my plan to settle the personal loan in September once my salary comes in.
Instead of working with me, the agent replied on WhatsApp with what feels like a direct threat:
"we will send out file to immigration team"
"to stop all the visa process by 24Th"
"you completed your medical?"

My Questions:

  1. Can a bank or collection agency actually contact GDRFA / MOHRE / Immigration to block or freeze a new employer's visa process over a delayed loan installment?
  2. Isn't halting someone's visa counterproductive if the goal is for them to get hired and pay back the debt?
  3. Is this standard illegal pressuring/harassment from third-party recovery agencies, and should I report this behavior to the Central Bank or the bank's official grievance department?
Appreciate any insight or advice from anyone who has dealt with this before. Thanks!

Urgent Advice Needed: Local sponsor refusing to hand over passport to my friend.

Hi everyone, I'm posting on behalf of a friend's friend who is in a difficult situation in Fujairah and could use some guidance.
She worked for a local family as a domestic worker for 2 years and finished her contract a week ago (officially under a male sponsor, but she worked for his sister). The sponsor is currently holding her passport and refusing to hand it over.
He told her that she either needs to get a new job first, or he will only give it to her at the airport when she is exiting the country. The catch is that she cannot apply for a new job or process any new paperwork without her physical passport. Her visa is also expiring soon, and she is terrified that if she plans an exit, he won't show up at the airport on time, leaving her stuck with overstay fines.
What is the fastest and most effective way to force him to return it? Should she go straight to the Police, or file a complaint with MoHRE/Tasheel first? Any advice on how this process works in Fujairah would be hugely appreciated. Thank you!
