I’m a 27 y.o woman from the UK engaged to an Uzbek man (who also lives in the UK), and I’ll be visiting Uzbekistan for the first time soon. I’d really appreciate any honest insight from people familiar with the culture both the good and the potentially challenging parts. What’s everyday life like there, especially around family and social norms? Is there anything I should know before visiting?
