Got E-CTS2871 as my Y-DNA haplogroup. My paternal family is from northern Morocco (Jebala/Rif area). I find very little information about this branch. Sources mention East African origins, but I’m curious about any North African history or deeper subclades. Would a Big Y test help? Any info appreciated.

Interesting to see the relatively high Caucasus component compared to other North Africans. Would like to hear your thoughts.
