The Loaded Tea Shop: working from a “Shipping Container”? This warrants investigation.

The Loaded Tea Shop.

At first I thought people online were exaggerating, but then I looked up the public record myself and saw a worker complaint tied to the address. Out of curiosity I drove by the location, and I’m still surprised by what I saw.

There was a white shipping container sitting outside with an AC unit attached to it.

It looked empty when I drove past, so maybe it’s no longer being used, but the whole thing definitely caught me off guard. There was a written notice of immediate Cease and Desist Operation attached to the container and building. https://apps.msdh.ms.gov/food/FacilityRecordComplaint.aspx?ComplaintID=41045

The area and building itself also looked pretty run down to me, which just didn’t match the polished image I kept seeing online. Maybe there’s perfectly reasonable explanations for all of it, I don’t know, but it personally made me uncomfortable enough that I won’t be ordering again. This company has had other complaints I wont get into here on a few platforms on review...and per this report Cameron Maag (VP of strategic for Goli Nutrition)...is involved? https://www.linkedin.com/in/cameron-maag/

I discovered two instances online where the FDA and the state failed inspections within a span of less than 12 months, resulting in closures for both establishments.

Unreal!

This is my alt account because I live nearby and honestly don’t want drama tied back to me over a tea company.
