So I’m not really sure if this is a crime. Coming here to see if I have anything or if I’m just cooked lol. So around November 2025 I traded a Lexus I had with some guy in Vermont. He had this nice Chrysler 300 for sale on Facebook marketplace and I thought it looked nice. I asked him if he wanted to trade and he said yes. So I hope in my Lexus and bring it all the way to Vermont. And the guy hands me a bunch of papers and says it should be enough to title it. There was no title present. I didn’t know that there would then be no way for me to title that car myself. And so now I have no car because I sold it for pretty much scrap. And they were nice cars too around $8k. And now I have nothing. Anything I can do or am I just dumb for trading my perfectly fine Lexus for junk. And I know he had a title at one point because I texted the guy who sold it to him. and he had a printed copy of a fully signed title of the guy I bought it from buying it from him. So lmk if I can legally pursue this in any way bc I was left without a car, money and a way to get to work. Only worried about it now bc the clunker I’ve been driving is starting to get to me lol. I’m also 18 if that helps explain the dumbness of this.
I’m ready roll this thing out of my garage and burn it. The passenger side of the hood is stuck shut. The driver side works perfectly fine. The hood pull feels pulled before i even touch it. But the driver side won’t pop if I don’t pull it. I had my dad help me put it on (big mistake) because it wouldn’t sit down originally when we were putting the hood on. And so he just forced it and now it won’t fucking pop. What do I do before I scrap this piece of shit.
