International student here. Planning to take a 2-year OTA/PTA diploma in Ontario (likely Fanshawe). I definitely lean more towards the pta side.
Here’s the catch: I need a permanent full-time job after graduating to get my PR. But I keep hearing private physio clinics only hand out part-time or casual shifts to new grads.
Are there actually any full-time PTA roles out there for new grads (maybe in hospitals)?
I’m 100% down to relocate to Manitoba, Sask, or literally the middle of nowhere if it guarantees full-time hours. Does moving out of Ontario make it a lot easier?
