First things first, no one argued the call.

Curious to the more experienced coaches and umpires: What is the call here?

I could see me asking about the catcher blocking the runner's path. I feel the runner did have to start outside the baseline in the first place.

I also think that at the point of the catcher receiving the ball, the runner didn't deviate from the then established path by more than 3 feet.

To me, it looked like as soon as a foot was outside the dirt, the runner was called out.

Opinions? Also, even if I'm wrong, should I approach Blue and ask about either? Should I ask the opposing coach to come over as well?
