A couple weeks ago, I shared GoTogether here. At the time, most people scrolled past it. Fair enough. A lot of student projects get launched, talked about once, and disappear.
This one didn’t.
In just 2 weeks:
• 250+ VIT students have joined
• 50+ rides have already been created
• Multiple rides have already gone completely full
That means students are not just signing up. They’re actually creating rides, joining rides, and using it.
For anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, GoTogether helps VIT students find others traveling to the same destination and split cab costs.
You simply:
- Log in with your VIT email
- Create a ride or join an existing one
- Travel with verified VIT students
- Split the fare instead of paying for the whole cab yourself
No random groups. No last-minute searching. No paying extra because you couldn’t find people in time.
Students are already using it for airport drops, railway station trips, weekend travel, and more.
If you travel outside campus even occasionally, it’s worth checking out.
