I recently bought a 1992 Jeep Wrangler and found this weird wired device mounted under/next to the seat.
It has:
a red translucent side with what looks like a push button or indicator a black housing
wiring running into the dashboard/floor area mounted pretty crudely near the seatbelt/seat frame

Would love to know if anyone recognizes it before I start tracing wires or removing it.
