Best travel insurance for central/south america and vietnam and thailand
Hello everyone!
Having graduated last spring, I figured I owed it to myself to do a huge backpacking trip.
Starting in July, I will be in Nicaragua for a month surfing, in August I'll be in Peru hiking the inca trail to Machu Picchu and spending time in Cusco and Lima and surrounding areas.
In September, I'll be flying to Vietnam for a month and doing the Ha Giang loop and exploring surounding areas. In October/November I'll be in Thailand for my final month/s, exploring and whatnot.
My question to all of you is what is my best option for Travel insurance? I've been on two-three month long trips before and never had it but this is by far my longest trip I've done. I'd say the most important thing to me other than medical expenses is being able to cancel flights. Is there things I should look out for or seek out when getting travel insurance?
