I gotta talk about Baez with somebody.
Everybody knows what he did and that’s good. And I’m lucky enough to have a Cardinals friend that I can talk to and other friendly friends but they ain’t seeing it. I just want to talk about what I seen. So it was today I’m watching the game at stupid one o clock. I been hearing about Baez how he’s a top prospect. This ain’t my first rodeo. So I’m like ok let’s get a look at this guy. When I tell you that first swing told me… it wasn’t so much that he hit it and it was a homerun. He hit that ball and I said “holy shit” before it even went over the wall. The swing. I haven’t heard anyone talk about the purpose or power in or talk about the swing. He didn’t just accidentally get it on the right part of the bat or whatever he MURDERED that ball. That ball had no other choice ffs! His approach and swing is what I’m excited about.
