Got my girl Lucy Gray a few days ago and want to give her a better life and home as her previous owners didn’t really give her much.

I’m getting a new tank later but wanted to know how to set up one of those ecosystems once I get it. Currently, I have organic soil, aspen, pothos, wandering dude, and play sand to work with, but I’m not entirely sure what exactly I do with it all once I start setting it up.

Somebody on my last post said to mix the soil and sand, but apart from that I’m honestly kind of lost 😭 I’d also love recommendations for what else I can add!

Somebody was rehoming their corn snake and I’ve been wanting to get one so I took them up on it! She came with everything you see here in this picture (literally just took her home) and I’m wanting to know what else I can get her enclosure so she has more to explore and hide. Thanks!

Edit: thanks for all the tips. I definitely plan to get her a bigger and better enclosure, it’s just gonna be a while unfortunately as I have to save up the money for it and (unfortunately) pay rent and stuff first

Edit 2: this isn’t super relevant, but the more I look at this sweet girl the less I understand how her old owners could’ve been okay keeping her in these conditions :( she’s just so precious and I wanna give her the world
