For starters, I'm not really a plant person, so I'm operating on very little information and experience. We have some azaleas planted in our yard, that are not doing particularly well. Pictures are of 5 different plants with (possibly) several different issues. We live in eastern Arizona, on top of the Colorado Plateau at about 6300 ft. elevation. Local environment is junipers, cedars and ponderosa pine rather than cactus. Lows in the winter can be 20s, highs in the summer are in the 90s and we generally have somewhat wide temp swings every day (30-40 degrees between day and night). Soil is rocky clay.
All the azaleas are planted in partial shade - each gets a few hours of direct sun and dappled to full shade the rest of the day. I generally give each plant just under a pint or two of water every day. We've recently added a soil acidifier and some gypsum - not sure if it's enough though.
I'd like to know if they have a disease or fungus and what I can do to treat it.
Thanks in advance!
