I have recently re-began my weight loss journey with the goal of fitting back into my suit for a wedding in November.
I’m doing it through calorie deficit as that has worked best for me in the past (eat less move more is the goal)
But the part in struggling with is at what time do I start counting?
I work nights a 10pm - 7 am shift pattern 4 days out of the week, so I’m usually asleep 9am till anywhere between 3pm - 6pm on those days. My days off I’m usually asleep 11/12pm till 5/6am.
Anyway my question is do I count my calories from when I wake up (so breakfast as 6pm, lunch as midnight) or do I count my calories as normal as possible meaning day 1 is logged as breakfast midnight and tea at 6pm?
I don’t usually eat when I get home from work so either way I will be missing a meal (either breakfast or tea, depending when I start the count)
Am I over thinking this? Or is there a correct answer?
