‘Not funny’: Fury over $100 Centrelink ‘prank’ | news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site for latest headlines

An Australian influencer has been branded “cruel” after a stunt filmed outside a Centrelink office went viral.

In a TikTok clip titled “superglue prank”, Queensland influencer Shammi Prassad is seen gluing an $100 note to the pavement outside a Centrelink office.

The footage, which has racked up over a million views across platforms, showed Centrelink customers attempting to pick up the note, as Shammi and gambling influencer ‘Degeneratebro’ watched on from afar.

A first man is seen stumbling across the note before bending down to try and pick it up, but to no avail.

“No luck, brother,” said Shammi as he laughed at the man.

A second man is seen attempting to wipe the glue off the note with a napkin before ultimately giving up and walking away.

“Bit sticky there, mate?” Shammi asked the man.

A third person also attempts to wipe the note with a napkin before kicking his esky in frustration, much to the amusement of Shammi.

Here are a couple idiots who are watching people who are probably on welfare or just applying for it, watching them scrabble for $100 which would be very welcome to them for laughs.

What a pair of ignorant people who think that seeing people in need is just a source of laughs.

Hopefully karma will catch up to these guys but they will play victims.
