Hello!

I am a young and avid backpacker, and my Italy plans have just been set very last minute after an unfortunate fall through in USA road trip plans, but I am going to try to take this as an opportunity to maximize my experience.

I know very little about Italy and Europe in general, but the nature the country has to offer is spectacular. In addition, I love history. I'm hoping to experience both the beautiful nature of the country and the historic spots.

With this being said I now have tickets leaving on the 13th, but I have no plan and have done very little research thus far. It will be a five-week trip and I'm hoping to meet some people and travel along intermittently, which is similar to what I did on a trip to New Zealand.

This is obviously going to be a big journey with a lot of bumps in the road, but I'm confident many great memories will be taken away.

The primary purpose of this post is looking for accommodation in or near Rome starting on the 14th of May for roughly a week, I am flexible on time. Let me know!

Thanks all, happy travels!
