And in short why ?

Whats the best way you have found using the colored 'collections' section , to speed up work flow?

If you are not using this already , start..

Its so much easier reaching for samples that you already know your going to use before even using them, plugin's for your mixing process, or chains for sound design all condensed in 1 (or up to 7) folder/s.

only thing this concept is missing is making it / or making another section that's essentially the same thing , with multiple sub folders so you can essentially build your own permanent or seasonal sample packs , or a folder structure for a pack of chains or what ever else youd need a structure for in an organization term.

My layout (trialed for a while / but not my favorite Ive done)

DRUMS Most used drum samples and favorite sounding ones ive found
FX Same , most common fxs used & custom built chain fx
SYNTHS Fav Synths
IDEA DROP random ideas , or rejected project ideas
SOUND DESIGN Chains / Pluggins particualy used in sound design process
GO TO PLUGS All my most used pluggins for all processed between creation and mastering including native and non native audio units

Any bugs that we are unaware of with this new update ?

So far I’ve found since the update , the Ableton App (for Mac) has just remade its self as a seperate up not an update over the old version.

So now I have x2 Ableton Live 12 Applications (hurts my ocd)

The ‘updated’ one is actually now called

‘.Ableton Live 12 Suite_updated’

Another thing I’ve noticed -

When I try to search for a UTILITY it cannot be found not even in the the ‘Audio Effects’ side bar

Haven’t found many more yet but will update when I find some and any other notable mentions
