I’m trying to understand the custom packaging market in Australia, and I’d really appreciate insights from business owners or anyone familiar with sourcing packaging locally.

I’m looking at packaging needs across different industries, such as:

- food & beverage (takeaway packaging, cups, containers)
- cosmetics / skincare packaging
- general product packaging for small businesses

I’m curious about a few things:

Where do businesses usually source their packaging (local suppliers vs overseas)?
How important is custom branding/printing across different industries?
Do businesses prefer eco-friendly options, or is price still the main deciding factor?
What are the biggest issues when working with packaging suppliers (lead time, MOQ, quality consistency, design support, etc.)?
Is there a strong demand for more flexible or small-batch custom packaging suppliers?
