Project management or Hr?

(ANY COMMENT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!) -im tweaking- I am currently in my 3rd year at a lower-tier uni studying for a Bachelor's in Business Administration. On the other hand, I have about 2 years of overall experience in sales (call center) and back office. After that, I moved to operations for a fintech company (remote contractor role) and worked there for about 7 months. I recently got laid off due to budget cuts, but the company was overall pretty bad and I was honestly planning to quit anyway (I mean it).

While working in operations, I also did a part-time remote HR internship (unpaid), and now I just started another HR internship at a different organization. The issue is, I get bored with the basic admin work. I’m way more interested in People Ops, culture, and headhunting.

However, with AI rising, I can’t seem to find much light or hope in the HR industry.

Right now, I have a lot of free time on my hands because my uni isn't very strict with attendance (I’m Moroccan studying abroad in Turkey). I am mainly seeking remote or at least hybrid career paths. Any advice on how to navigate this would be very appreciated.
