Canadian Architect - move to US

There is a high chance that I’ll be moving to Georgia in a few months. I‘m a licensed architect in Canada. I’ll be looking for Architect positions and since i have some time to prepare myself, I wanted to ask if anyone has similar experience of moving to US as Canadian Architect and how did they find the building code differences? what are the key sources that US architects use as study material for International Building Code? I love building code and am pretty good at finding my way around the National building code of Canada and just want to get myself to the same level for when I’ll be working in US. Your guidance is appreciated. Thank you!

PS: I’m already aware of Mutual Recognition Agreement between US and Canada and will be working to get my license in Georgia through that path.

Hi everyone, my US immigration interview has been scheduled in Montreal for early June. My visa category is F1 daughter of US citizen. I have both nationality of Iran and Canada. When filling out my DS-260 about two years ago, I entered the information of my Iranian passport first and then added Canadian passport. I was now trying to register my appointment for courier service on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/ website and there's a warning "The information entered below must match the applicant’s passport and DS-260 Number application. Any discrepancy will result in delays in the return of the applicant’s documents."

I went back to my DS-260 application and apparently I have entered Iran's passport info for my travel document and then noted my Canadian passport below with the passport number as other nationality. Now I'm wondering if this is an issue or not? because of course I'd want to use Canadian passport as travel document to US and I don't know if I can edit my DS-260 that I submitted in July 2024 or not. Chatgpt tells me to enter my Iranian passport info for courier to avoid logistic issues (so it can sync with my DS-260) and then just ask officer at the interview to have visa issued in the Canadian passport (if visa is approved).
