19M Hi everyone i’m going into my junior year of college and i’m currently going for a Mechanical engineering Tech bachelors degree. I go to school full time and work part time as a Cnc machinist. The more i’m in school i find i hate it more and more every semester. I’ve been looking at the Automated Manufacturing Engineering Tech bachelors degree and over my research and correct me if i’m wrong it would be more hands on and a easier program and job wise more tied into what profession im in now. Originally when I chose the met degree I wanted to be the guy in the office designing parts but i’m steering away from it. So my questions are what your thoughts are on both degrees, what they do in the amet degree, work environment, job life, etc? I’m not here to be hounded on making a bad decision or being dumb just asking for honest advice. Forgive my grammar I wrote this on my phone while running a cnc hass.
