Hi, last year I attempted to lose weight I was already a healthy weight but I began exercising and walking a lot, I cut my calories to about 800-1400 daily. I lost about 3kg only and almost lost my period. (For one year) I was on a very stressful work schedule (working two jobs). I was also living in a toxic environment with my ex who commented on my weight frequently, his mother did the same and was always talking about weight.
I ended up moving out and sort of broke it off with my ex. I regained weight about 5kg and my period returned. However it’s been four months since my last period and I am worried it’s gone because I started restricting my food again and lost about a kilo. I am really struggling with body image and am constantly comparing my body to my old self and others. I just need some motivation and tips to get through this difficult time.
