So I’m an american who goes to school in montreal thus have a student visa for the next 3 years. My family is moving out of NYC so I’m thinking of bringing my stuff to my new MTL apartment via u-haul but have seen various posts on here saying not to do that? I want to bring a desk, bookshelf, all my books, clothes, shoe rack, etc. How would y’all counsel me to do this? This would be late July/early August.
