Not to long ago I read ready or not by boney and I'm currently reading first in last out that's by boney as well. if you haven't read those fanfics already I highly recommend them but I'm sure most have as they are popular fanfics within the fandom as I've heard. but my point is in one of those two I forgot which one there was a moment in one of the chapters where nick goes to a vending machine and I was thinking this seems familiar as this also occurred in Zootopia 2 but then I read Farther and it said he got a carrot soda or juice for Judy and that was even more similar to this one moment in Z2 and you would think oh boney maybe decided to throw in a little scene from zootopia that they saw but the thing is those fanfics came out back in 2020 or 2021a few years before Z2. so my theory is I truly believe the directors of Zootopia and Zootopia 2 have really read some fanfics and maybe took some of those small ideas and put them as a little scene in the second movie that's the thought I had. how else is it that we notice scenes in fanfics that have been in zootopia 2 that are almost the same and the other way around. I think that's pretty cool If there reading our fanfics and taking ideas from us from the movie it be an honor to have even a small part from your fanfic in the film.
