What’s happening in Rojhelat?

I’ve seen some news that PJAK are attacking IRGC.

Is it only PJAK or is it in coordination with other parties?

Also why now? I mean if they want to fight without any guarantees from the US they could have done that while US was still bombing them.

What are Christians called in Kurdish

Silav û rêz,

I always thought the christians in Kurdish are ”fleh”(hope that’s the correct spelling). But I’ve noticed for example on Rudaw they use a Kurdified version of the word ”christians”, others use the Arabic term.

So what’s the correct word?

Calibration tips for G5 G50SF

Hello,

I've newly got my SAMSUNG G5 G50SF OLED mointor and I followed the instructions in this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/oled\_monitors/s/jsiNrYM9Aj) for calibration.

Unfortunately I feel that the colours are yellowish in comparison with my second monitor which is NANO-IPS from LG. Also the red in my second monitor is truly red but in my OLED it feels more like orange same goes for green as well that it is less green in my OLED.

Do you have any tips or do you have the same monitor and in that case what is your calibration settings?

Lacking letters in Kurmancî?

Silav û rêz,

I’ve noticed that there’s a sound that we use in Kurmancî but we don’t have a letter representing it.

Kerr - Deaf

Kelem - Thorn

In my region (I don’t know about others) the sound in the beginning isn’t the usuall ”k”. If I would describe it, it would be something like a shy ”k”. It’s different enough that it should have it’s own letter.

Also there are other sound that we use but they don’t have letters for them:

X = خ, But in ”Xerîb - strange” the X is غ

H = ه, But in ”Heyran - amazed” the H is ح though many other keep the ”h”

Also in Kurmancî we lack a letter representing the double ”rr” for example in Șêr - lion. Though when we pronounce ”șêr” we emphasize the ”r”. Also we have already letters representing those kind of pronounsiations like ”ê, û, î” so why not having for ”r”.

I believe we need to update Kurmancî.

Revolution in Rojava?

Silav û rêz hevalno,

My question is mainly for Rojava Kurds but I want to what other Kurds think as well.

I’m from Rojava myself and I notice more and more hatred against the leadership in Rojava and Apoism. The way they rule, thier ideology, poor policies etc.

Also I know that the majority of Rojava Kurds doesn’t like them as well. Which leads me to think that probably the people will rise against them if they don’t behave.

So I want to know what do you guys think about this?

Calling Kurdistan region ”Northern Iraq”

This ker repeated several times in the intervju northern Iraq when referring to the Kurdistan region. After all the things that the Kurdistan region and the Kurdish people have done for him, what a shame.

We should thank Apo/Apoism for this amazing mindset.
