Surgery update got my call late today to schedule me for excision surgery and it will be in august on the 6th the scheduler says he is pretty booked up so his next available would be august 6th or august 26th which happens to be my birthday so i chose the 6th instead although I will like be still recovering when my birthday comes so there’s that so I mean I a little bummed with having three month wait and thst this interferes w my birthday but it’s fine bc at least I’m getting the surgery done also apparently they will also be doing a procedure called bilateral ureterolysis which apparently is done with excision for DIE idk I’ll have to wait see all what he says at my pre op on July 29th

Okay so I finally had my appointment today with the physician assistant who works with the endometriosis excision specialist I came in well prepared for the appointment made a packet full lots of my information and my data for the endometriosis plus the cd copy of the pelvic mri images so very well prepared anyways the appointment went well she is super sweet heard and listened to me and all in all based off all things I’ve provided and physical examination she is identifying it as deep infiltrated endometriosis like I said appointment went well she said next week the surgery schedule will be calling to give me the surgery date and to schedule me for a preop visit w the doctor after my appointment I did have a slight delay after she went back over my medical history she had seen I have cerebral aneurysm and due to that and due to the positioning of the surgery they would need a clearance note from my neurologist luckily I was able to get it handled quickly I called the neurology office explained it they called the Dr office I went to today and then faxed over a note of clearance the neurologist office called me neck to say it’s been faxed over and the Dr office received it so the surgery scheduler reached out to let me know they will be calling me next week with the surgery date as soon as the Dr goes over my images and find out where in the list he’d like me placed then then will get me scheduled so all and all a productive day
