I have volunteered at a phyiostherapy clinic and might be considering volunteering some more however I am not sure if I want to continue because first of all most of the time I am not doing much or doing menial tasks such as taking the garbage, doing laundry, preparing rooms or bring heatpacks. Also sometimes they make be do some fishy/questionable things such as use the ultrasound machine or laser machine on patients, so they can see many patients at the same time. If I decide to use it as an EC should I frame it in a way where I mostly just shadowed, even though at times I had to directly use machines on the patient? I already have quite a bit hours from volunteering in previous summers so I don't really want it to go to waste when/if I apply to med school.

How did everyone do? I have not seen the class average yet but I was expecting to do better from looking at the median from previous years?
