Hey everyone,
I’m a 3D artist and lately, I’ve been doing a ton of heavy rendering. Like many of you, I quickly realized that the big, established render farms are insanely expensive. They are basically printing money with their confusing "RenderPoints" and hidden fees.
I tried to switch to cheaper cloud GPU providers like RunPod, but honestly? It was a nightmare. Setting up SSH keys, using the terminal, dealing with Docker containers and Python scripts just to render a simple .blend file took all the fun out of it.
I just wanted a simple "upload and render" button without paying the massive markups of the big greedy corporate render farms.
So, I spent the last few weeks coding my own solution. It’s called ProRender Cloud.
How it works:
My system automatically buys bare-metal wholesale GPU compute (like RTX 4090s) at market prices via API the second you hit "render". Because I have almost zero fixed server costs, I can pass these cheap wholesale prices directly to you. Unlike those greedy corporate farms that charge a 20x markup, I keep it fair: my margin is strictly around 1.5x to 2x the raw market price. Just enough to keep the servers running and make it sustainable. Plus, it has a super clean, dead-simple UI – no terminal required.
I need your help (Soft Launch / Beta):
I literally just finished coding the backend (it has queueing, auto-scaling, and partial downloads if a frame crashes). Now, I want to see if the system actually holds up or if it melts down.
I’m doing a "Soft Launch" today. If you have a heavy project right now and want to render it on a 4090 for a fraction of the usual cost, I would be incredibly honored if you gave it a try and gave me some brutal feedback.

Let’s disrupt the greedy render monopolies together!
P.S. To make sure my servers don't immediately catch fire on day one, I’ve capped the registrations for this closed beta to 50 users total. As a thank you for your help, the first 20 people to sign up will automatically get $5 in free credits to test the heavy 4090 GPUs on me!
Also, my official support ticketing system isn't fully set up yet. So if you run into any bugs, errors, or your render gets stuck: Just DM me right here on Reddit or drop a comment below. I’m monitoring this thread and will fix issues ASAP!
