Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit or flair I don’t post on reddit. Basically, my old laptop just died on me and I’m looking for recommendations for a simple replacement. Budget is 800-1000 USD, the usage is for classes/labs for a medical program for college. Some minor gaming with titles such as OSRS or league. Just want a laptop with decent capabilities and a generally longer lifespan as I’m hoping to be able to use this for about 5-7 years, enough to finish a masters/doctorates program if chosen.
