Decisive when to take the CPALE exam
Hi po! I'm super indecisive and confused kung ano bang mas better option. Whether to try and take the chance to take the exam for Oct 2025 or move it and just try next year.
(Long story ahead hehe. Just wanna vent out all my worries and lahat ng nasa isip ko huhu)
For context, I graduated last year (2025) and is currently working po in an accounting firm. Just last 2 weeks ago, I already enrolled na po for a review center. Reason? Since yung mga kaklase and kaibigan ko is mga nagpaplan na rin na magtake for october 2026 boards. Parang masasabi ko na i felt pressured na rin siguro? Pero kasi to be honest po, unti-unti nang nawawala yung kagustuhan ko magtake huhu. I actually planned to review last year pa pero minove ko nang minove hanggang sa this year me mejo nagkaroon ng will na magtry since may mga kasabayan ako.
The thing is since weak po yung foundation ko and kakastart ko lang magreview this month, parang super kulang pala ng time ko to review specially since i'm also working. And nagpaplan ako na if ever, i will resign by July, for me to have atleast 2 months being a full time reviewee.
Pero napapaisip din ako na i-move nalang by May 2027. And sa December nalang ako magreresign para mas mahaba yung review ko and may January-April pa po akong full 4 months review while also reviewing kahit paunti-unti while working until December.
Kaso po iniisip ko po na baka mawalan nanaman me ng will to take lalo kapag wala na akong kasabay mag-take by that time huhu (i know ang petty po) pero may part lang po kasi sakin na parang want ko na may kasabay mag apply and mag take.
Di ko na po alam kung ano na bang gagawin kong plan since kung ipupush ko yung for october, dapat magpasa na me ng resignation letter since may rendering pa po yun and such. Or push to next year nalang ba.
kaso po on the side note, medjo naguguilty lang rin po for the firm i am currently working since if aalis ako ng december, maiiwan ko yung mga clients na hawak ko and hindi ako makakatulong for the audit season
PS. I'm so sorry po if super indecisive ko and looks like I'm someone who isn't fit to be a CPA with my kind of thinking na need pa ng kasabay and such para lang mapush mag-take.
