How long should a wedding video actually be?

Ours is in editing and we've been asked to pick between a five minute version and a full length one at around forty minutes. My instinct is that nobody sits through forty minutes. My mother's instinct is that the forty minutes is the entire point. One of us is wrong and I suspect it's me. I know this is not the right sub but AITA?

Are you folding same day social content into your packages or keeping it separate?

Three couples this season have asked for same night vertical clips. None of them asked two years ago.

I'm not set up for it and subcontracting eats most of the margin. Building it in or holding it as its own line?
