I have high-functioning Autism with lots of anxiety. I have taken Gabapentin for decades but at a steady dose. I acclimated within the first 6 months years ago. Thinking it was an ineffective drug I quit about 5 years ago but recently started again at a higher dose and more intermittent. I keep from growing a tolerance this way. Man, it sure calms my nerves. In a way that even Xanax can't.
