half of my redbud did not sprout leaves this year, so I pruned out the dead part. the other half has smaller limbs starting to die. I can pull the limbs off cleanly by hand. the inside has some boring holes, color staining and frass noodles. Are beetles solely responsible, can I treat it, and is it too late?
