Quick way to earn money? Survey apps keep screening me out. What actually works?
I'm a college student in Texas trying to add a little extra to my grocery money with low-effort phone stuff between classes. I do gaming rewards sometimes, but when I'm stuck waiting and don't want to start a new game, surveys seemed like the easiest option.
They're driving me nuts. I'll spend 5 to 10 minutes on what seem like basic questions, then right at the end I get screened out or it says I do not qualify and I end up with nothing or just a couple points. It honestly feels like I'm doing free market research.
What are y'all doing to make survey apps actually worth it? A few specific questions:
Is there a best time of day to take surveys so you get fewer screen outs?
Do you fill out profile sections in a certain way (still honest) so you match surveys better?
Do you only click short surveys, or do longer ones reliably pay better?
Any non-survey options with similar effort but less wasted time, like user testing, receipt scans, or small gigs, that work on a tight schedule?
I'm not trying to get rich, just hoping for something that can actually cash out a little each week without feeling like a scam. Any tips to cut down on screen outs or apps that actually pay would be hugely appreciated.
