Antigravity and Buoyancy
Came across an interesting theory when it comes to antigravity. Let's assume there is a way to entirely remove the effect of gravity on a given object, thus rendering it effectively weightless. Considering the surrounding atmosphere is still subject to gravity, thus giving it a weight, would that mean that the gravity-less object could on its own float upwards due to buoyancy force?
