I found this engorged tick on the back of my head and promptly removed it. I live in IA and it appears to be a female dog tick. I think it may have gotten on my head around Saturday. I’m so terrified of getting RMF. It’s sore to the touch around the bite and on my neck near it a little. When would I expect to see symptoms?
