This is the entrance signage at the Justizgebäude am Lenbachplatz 7 in Munich. The building was designed by Sep Ruf in the 1950s and renovated in the late 1990s.

The most unique part of the font is the Ü in "MÜNCHEN." This letterform is so different. Anybody have a clue on what typeface this is? It might be hand-lettered by a Schriftmaler who understood how to integrate German diacritics into Roman capitals..

Appreciate any ideas.
