Regarding the recent vetting policy change, case approval seems like a lengthy process now, and mycasehub also shows comparatively less case approval per day. I'm considering going back and waiting offshore and would appreciate more thought.
I had the interview back to April 16 and radio silent since. Status stuck at "Interview was scheduled" since the day we received the interview notice for both I-130 and I-485. We don't have a joint account or lease sorta financial evidence and the interview was imperfect. Age gap with spouse but marriage is bona fide and have been dating for 5 years and married for 1 year. ESTA expired while waiting for the interview.
Here is the input I'd like to know:
If I leave directly and request for the consulate process, would that affect the approval of I-130? Like taking longer or more difficult to get approval?
Would filing I-131 and I-765 after an interview affect the timeline of I-130 and I-485? Has anyone filed I-131 and I-765 alone, how long would the approval take recently?
