
We are looking at buying our first house (PPOR) and are considering this area in Sydney. It’s along a river but is an estate by MIRVAC. They elevated the area above the 100 year ARI (7 metres) so it’s considerd low risk for flooding. Our concern is that the surrounding areas are at medium/high risk. We tried getting a quote for jnsurance to see if it was expensive because of the risk but we got relatively affordable quotes. We are FHBs though so we are not very familiar with all of this! Appreciate feedback and insights from those that have bought in similar areas.
